Pawel SUSNIAK
Project Manager

Mr. Pawel SUSNIAK is a project manager and a full-time employee at Niras. He has 15 years of professional experience, with the last 5 years dedicated to donor-funded technical assistance projects, overseeing and coordinating international development assignments and teams, mostly in the area of energy and environment. He holds a BA in International Management, with emphasis on Economics and International Relations.

Mr. SUSNIAK has recently managed the “Technical Assistance for enhancement of institutional capacity in Energy Efficiency” project for the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the “Supply of project management, air quality information management, behavior change and communication services” project for the Millennium Foundation Kosovo, where his strong experience of coordinating project teams and experts, financial planning of project budget, as well as quality assurance and reporting, allowed him to successfully complete these assignments.

Henry JOERGENSEN
Team Leader

Mr. Henry JOERGENSEN is an independent consultant with more than 35 years of experience from the Danish Agricultural Advisory Service and different projects in Ministries of Agriculture in new EU member states and EU candidate countries.

Mr. JOERGENSEN has an extensive experience as Team Leader and Key Expert on projects focusing on development of a sustainable agricultural sector by implementing EU regulations on environment, animal welfare and food safety. Mr. JOERGENSEN is experienced in capacity building of the public administration and the agricultural advisory service as well as implementing awareness raising campaigns for farmers.

Belit AYAYDIN
Project Assistant

Ms. Belit AYAYDIN has three years of experience in Technical Assistance projects funded by the European Union and the World Bank as lead Project Translator and Project Translator. She graduated from Hacettepe University's French Translation and Interpretation Department. She has her master’s degree from Université de Strasbourg's Professional Translation Department in three languages namely French, English and Turkish with a focus on European Union texts and legal texts’ translation.

Gözde VARDAR
Office Director

Ms. Gözde VARDAR, full-time employee at Niras has been acting as Office Director for the projects implemented in Turkey since 2012. With two university degrees in Office Management from Turkey and Business Administration emphasis in Management from the USA.

Ms. VARDAR has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Office Management and Administration, Financial Management, Project Management and Business Development. Under the umbrella of Niras’ projects in Turkey, she has supported all implemented EU-Funded projects from their tender stage to the implementation with office setup, human resource management and supervising of the activities.

Begüm AYKAL
Project Translator

Ms. Begüm AYKAL, has 10+ years’ experience both in Twinning and Technical Assistance projects as a lead translator. Graduated from Bilkent University Faculty of Translation and Interpretation, Ms. AYKAL also acted as project translator when needed taking on roles of organization of meetings, workshops, seminar, study and field visits.

Ms. AYKAL also translated 4 published books.
